Corlie and Josh’s Red Rock Country Club Las Vegas wedding was inspired by the glamour and charm of the 1920’s, more specifically The Great Gatsby. Their wedding on was New Year’s Eve and it couldn’t have been a better time to celebrate the new year, with a beautiful and fun wedding. Corlie wore a showstopping dress with a low neckline and hanging beads around the shoulders and bodice. Corlie’s bridesmaids wore black knee length flapper dresses, which all had elaborate detailing on the beading to give the design a more art deco look. To fit the Gatsby-glam theme, Corlie’s bouquet and centerpieces were all full and lush with peonies and feathers. The centerpieces also included hanging beaded pearls which were intricately draped. The arbor also included hanging pearls, white feathers, and big and beautiful white hydrangeas.
That particular day in Las Vegas was particularly chilly. So to make sure that she stayed nice and warm, Corlie wore her soft and silky white mink coat during her portrait session with her new hubby, Josh. When it started to drizzle a bit, we also made sure to not let the rain dampen our spirits – we finished their portrait session in clear photogenic umbrellas.
Wanting to end their wedding with a bang, they had a sparkler exit scheduled for midnight and so their ceremony had to be held a little later after sunset. Their nighttime ceremony was lit by bistro rope lights and candles.
