Inspired by Sara and Britt’s elopement, Cara and James came out to the vast and secluded desert with us for their Las Vegas desert elopement. They were married by the wonderful Angie from Peachy Keen Unions. She never fails to make me and the couple cry during the ceremony with her heartfelt and sincere service.
Cara wore a stunning form-fitting gown, accented with shimmering beads and lace straps. The showstopper was the low back – it was elegant and regal. Her big and lush bouquet was delicately created by Layers of Lovely. With fresh florals such as roses and eucalyptus, her bouquet looked and smelled amazing. It was then finished with a soft gauzy ribbon wrapped around the base of the bouquet. When the wind blew, the ribbon would catch it and flow in the most beautiful way. Hair and makeup, provided by Paper Bag Beauty, was done with such care. Cara’s hair was so intricately weaved together into a low updo. James looked dapper as he wore a textured navy suit and paired it with a blush tie and brown leather dress shoes.
The day was particular windy, which was the perfect setting for their elopement especially with Cara’s bouquet. The day was also cloudy, making blue mountains behind them pop so beautifully. After their ceremony in the desert, we ventured to Nelson Ghost Town for a portrait session. Completely different from the lake bed, Nelson offered a more colorful and vibrant background for their photos.
