Becky and Chris were married in the picturesque Timberline Lodge in Mt. Hood, which is about an hour away from Portland, Oregon. The lodge is surrounded by grassy open fields, evergreen pine trees, and vast mountains which was the perfect backdrop for their romantic and rustic summer wedding. It was also the same location where Chris proposed to Becky – on top of the snowy Mt. Hood! 🙂
Becky and Chris started the day getting ready at the lodge, each room was intimate and cozy as their rooms were lined with natural wooden panels. Becky wore a gorgeous sleeveless Maggie Sottero gown which had a sweetheart neckline and a drop waist silhouette, finished with romantic lace and beading all around the bodice and a flared soft tulle skirt. Her bridesmaids wore Badgley Mischka’s rose gold/blush sequin dresses that had a v-neck neckline and a ruched waist. Becky’s bouquet was lush and full as it was filled with peonies, roses, anemone, and spray roses which blended so perfectly together with the white, minty green, and pink color palette. Chris and his groomsmen all wore dark navy tuxedoes that were formal but also very romantic.
Their ceremony and reception was held at the Raven’s Nest at the Timberline Lodge which had wooden beams that met together to create a pointed ceiling. With the abundance of windows, the sun flooded the room with beautiful soft light. To match that theme of rustic meets glam, their reception tables were lined with pink and white sequined runners and their wedding cake was decorated with gold foil and glitter, finished with expertly created buttercream roses.
